Do dogs really need beach sand between their toes to be happy?

When will Bob Goldman and the dog owners association stop resorting to name calling and character assassinations in their quest for beach access for animals?

There must be many “mean spirited and anti-sharing people in South Portland” who don’t care to tell their kids ‘don’t make sand castles with yellow sand.’

There are many areas of the city for dog exercising and I believe if the association spent as much time, energy and money into creating a dog park, there would be no problem. Don’t forget, we are hosting dogs from surrounding communities as well.
