I am in total agreement with Rebecca Bing [May 8] who wrote about the dangerous intersection at Broadway and Sawyer Street. I have seen children trying to cross at the crosswalk on Broadway between Sawyer Street and Virginia Avenue. The traffic rarely stops for them although it is the law. I have to cringe when I stop to let them cross and traffic continues coming from the other direction.  A stop and go light along with a walk light should be a priority.  

I urge the city to give this matter immediate attention. Hope and luck is not a good strategy.
