South Portland

A SHOCKER

Police filed a burglary report when employees of a business on John Roberts Road reported that an automated external defibrillator, or AED, was missing from the employee lounge. The investigation is ongoing, but police said they do not have any suspects. The AED is valued at approximately $1,200.

NICE TV

Officers are investigating the theft of a 42-inch plasma television, a smaller flat-screen television and some liquor from an Ocean Street residence. In total, police estimate the items cost more than $4,500.

LAWN CHAIRS AND LIQUOR BOTTLES

Approximately $600 in damage was done to a Devereaux Circle residence before police arrived in response to reports of a large fight. The residents originally thought two windows in their kitchen and two in the living room had been shot at with a firearm but officers discovered they had been broken by several lawn chairs and discarded liquor bottles.

RESPECT YOUR MINORS

Police arrested two juveniles after responding to reports of a general disturbance on East Macarthur Drive. Officers originally planned to summons the two for providing alcohol to minors at a party, but discovered they were both already on probation.

BUSTED WITH BRASS

Officers broke up a fight between two men on C Street. One of the men was transported to the hospital for injuries to his face and hands resulting from the fight. The other man was transported to Cumberland County Jail, where guards discovered a pair of brass knuckles in his pocket. The man was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a concealed weapon.

LEAVE YOUR DOGS AT HOME

Police issued a violation of local ordinance to a man who was walking his large brown dog in the vicinity of the Willard Beach bathhouse around noon.
