On Thursday May 28, I found a pothole in an excavated section of Mussey Street, and because it was raining, the pothole was certain to get larger. I stopped by the public works office about 9:30 a.m. and reported it. When I returned home at 11:45 a.m., the pothole had been patched and a city truck was just leaving.

I think this is a great example of people who work for our city exceeding expectations. We often take city employees for granted and don’t give them credit for superior performance, but this time they were truly “caught doing something right.”
