THREE IS COMPANY

Police arrived at a home on Harborview Avenue where a man and a woman were trying to kick another man out of the house. The outcast male, agitated, lunged and made contact with an officer when they approached, according to police. The man was charged with assault and obstruction. Police said the man continued to threaten officers en route to county jail.

NOPOD

A resident entered the lobby of the South Portland police station and reported her car had been broken into several hours earlier. Upon investigation, officers discovered the woman’s Ipod had been stolen.

PHONED HOME?

Officers picked up a bicycle on Campus Center Drive after receiving reports that it had been left there for some time. The bike will be auctioned off unless it is claimed.

BOX CAR CANVAS

Police filed a report of criminal mischief after discovering a boxcar near Madison Street had been painted with graffiti. Officers said they were confident the crime occurred locally.

“GREEN” OR BLACK AND BLUE?

Police summonsed a woman for assault after she spanked a child she observed manipulating trash beside a sidewalk. It was unclear whether the child was picking up the trash or littering, according to police.
