    Although it has been weeks since the Nov. 4 election, I am still riding high on the strong showing of support at the polls for my election to South Portland City Council.  There are so many people to thank:  my partner Susan Chase (i.e., my campaign manager extraordinaire), my campaign treasurer, Larry Matthews, and my strong “core group” that completed many tedious tasks on behalf of my campaign.  I would also like to thank the South Portland Democrats for their tutelage and support of this newcomer to politics.  Equally important, I would like to thank every resident of South Portland who made it out to the polls and to those who invited me into their homes and shared their views with me. I am honored be chosen your councilperson for District 2 for the next three years and I will do my very best to represent you in South Portland’s city government.
