Letter: Bliss offers thanks (June 20, 2008)

Editor:
I want to use this opportunity to thank all the Democratic voters who took the time to vote for me in the June 10 Democratic primary election. I truly appreciate the votes, and your willingness to make me your candidate for the Maine State Senate.
No candidate can do the work by themselves, and I had a great team of volunteers from South Portland, Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth helping me put up campaign signs, knock on doors, arrange programs and events, and write notes. That team (and you know who you are!) is terrific, and I thank them for taking time out of their busy lives to help me run my campaign.
Please take some time in the next few days and give me a hand collecting my signs! If you have one in your yard, or see one or two near your home, please collect them and stick them in your garage or basement and then email me to let me know that you have them (Lawrence.Bliss@gmail.com). That would be great.
Thank you again for your confidence in me, and your willingness to let me represent you in Augusta. I hope you’ll continue to keep me informed of your views as we move toward the November election.
Larry Bliss, candidate
Maine State Senate, South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough
