The Social Security Government Offset and Windfall Elimination Provision are unfair and unjust, especially to widows and seniors.

Senator Susan Collins has a bill, S.206, before Congress to repeal these provisions that have unfairly reduced Social Security and Social Security Survivor Benefits. 

My deceased husband paid into Social Security for many years. If I retire, I will experience a financial crisis, especially because of rising fuel and prescription costs. I will not be able to stay in my home. I am in my 70’s and still working full time. Thank you to Senator Susan Collins for her efforts and concern for the public employees and educators.
