General statement about candidacy:
I have no political experience but I can balance a checkbook, which the
state needs to do. I will help the elderly and veterans get their homes
and lives back in order. I will put more people to work with better
jobs, roads and benefits. If you’re not part of the solution; you’re
part of the problem. I hope to fix this.
Stance on the following issues:
TABOR and Tax Reform: [Regarding TABOR] We’ve tried everything else, so
let’s try this and see where it brings us. We need to stop out of
control spending. This is the first step in doing that.
Debt: Pay down debt as fast as we can. Money on debt leaves us more money to spend leaves us more to spend on top projects.
Education funding: Put more money into teachers and cut the bloated DHS and State departments.
Economic development: Cut taxes on business and improve roads. This
would to more job creation within the state as more companies would
likely move here.
Infrastructure priorities: Put more money into roads, which would
transport goods and services faster and in a more timely manner.
Spending priorities: 1.) Roads. 2.) Services for the Elderly. 3.) Services for Veterans.
Spending cuts: 1.) Department of Health and Human Services. 2.)Welfare 3.) Bloated school departments.
Goals to accomplish: 1.) Cut taxes for all people. 2.) Bring in more jobs. 3.) Fix up the roads.
As you campaign, what are the issues voters bring up most often?
Property taxes and job openings. Health insurance is also up there.
Elderly people can’t afford more taxes, as we are forcing them to sell
their homes.
Name three ways voters can differentiate you from your opponent:
1.) I will cut taxes and government spending. 2.) Put child molester in
jail for longer sentences. 3.) I have been in charge of and supervised
groups of people and got the job done in a quick and timely manner.
