Letters: Vote Bromley, Nov. 7 (Two letters, printed Oct. 13)

Editor:

As residents of Cape Elizabeth, we are writing in
support of the re-election of Senator Lynn Bromley for State Senate
District 7.

Senator Bromley has served our district well. She
has helped working families by voting to increase the minimum wage;
increased the chances for Maine students to have higher education
opportunities by supporting legislation that established the Community
College System; worked for businesses by voting to repeal the personal
property tax on business equipment, enabling businesses to grow and add
jobs; and supported legislation that gave all Maine residents equal
rights.

Senator Bromley’s intelligence and her ability to
listen and weigh both sides of an issue are qualities necessary for a
legislator. It is rare to have someone who can find ways to help
working families, support educational opportunities, assist small
businesses, and protect the rights of all Mainers; Senator Bromley has
succeeded in doing just that. Her background as a parent and a small
business owner enables her to work hard to find the solutions to
difficult issues.

Senator Bromley has the experience and honest
ability to care about Maine and Mainers and deserves to continue to
serve as our State Senator.
